On Wednesday, Ukrainian refugees Joseph and Miriam Suprun celebrated the brit milah of their healthy baby boy. While every birth is a miracle, the extraordinary circumstances of this baby’s birth are noteworthy.
Miriam Suprun escaped Ukraine on her own as her husband was forced to stay and fight. Miriam was in her eighth month of pregnancy, and she escaped with her three children in the backseat of the car.
She was filled with anxiety at the thought of having nowhere to birth the baby, but at the border of Poland, she was greeted by Rebbetzin Dina Stambler of Chabad of Poland.
Shortly before the birth, the husband, Joseph Suprun, managed to get an exit permit from Ukraine and arrived in Poland.
After the birth, the Supruns were greeted with new parenting and baby essentials, including a new baby stroller which was gifted to them from an Israeli family in Poland.

Primeiro brit milah celebrado no centro Chabad da Polónia para refugiados ucranianos
Na última quarta-feira, os refugiados ucranianos Joseph e Miriam Suprun comemoraram o brit milah de seu bebê. Embora todo nascimento seja um milagre, as circunstâncias extraordinárias do nascimento desse bebê são dignas de nota.
Miriam Suprun escapou da Ucrânia sozinha, pois seu marido teve que ficar e lutar. Miriam estava no oitavo mês de gravidez e fugiu com os três filhos no banco traseiro de um carro.
Ela estava ansiosa pensando que poderia não estar em um local seguro quando entrasse em trabalho de parto, mas na fronteira da Polônia foi recebida pela Rebbetzin Dina Stambler, do Chabad da Polônia.
Pouco antes do nascimento, o marido, Joseph Suprun, conseguiu uma autorização de saída da Ucrânia e chegou à Polônia.
Após o parto, os Supruns foram recebidos com novos itens essenciais para pais e bebês, incluindo um novo carrinho que foi presenteado por uma família de israelitas que vive na Polônia.
