The Jewish Community of Oporto published a video showing its painting exhibition, which is currently in the library of the Kadoorie synagogue. Flor Mizrahi, a Venezuelan painter of the Jewish Community of Oporto coordinated a team of painters and interpreted the long history of Jews in the city.
"In cultural terms, the Jewish Community of Oporto has produced films and museums, as well as music, literature, and even an art gallery", says Mizrahi. She reminds us that "we all will die but there are things that will remain forever. Our history is immortalized here", she added.
The beautiful library with three rooms is a place where now the arts come together and complement each other. Architecture, literature and painting intersect here and take us through the history of the Jewish Community of Oporto. Thousands of books in 10 different languages, on the history of Jewish civilization, from antiquity to the present day.

A Comunidade Judaica do Porto publicou um vídeo mostrando a sua exposição de pintura, que se encontra atualmente na biblioteca da sinagoga Kadoorie. Flor Mizrahi, pintora venezuelana da Comunidade Judaica do Porto coordenou uma equipa de pintores e interpretou a longa história dos judeus na cidade.
“Em termos culturais, a Comunidade Judaica do Porto produziu filmes e museus, bem como música, literatura e até uma galeria de arte”, afirma Mizrahi. Ela nos lembra que “todos morreremos, mas há coisas que permanecerão para sempre. Nossa história está aqui imortalizada”, acrescentou.
A bela biblioteca com três salas é um local onde agora as artes se unem e se complementam. Arquitectura, literatura e pintura cruzam-se aqui e levam-nos pela história da Comunidade Judaica do Porto. Milhares de livros em 10 idiomas diferentes, sobre a história da civilização judaica, desde a antiguidade até os dias atuais.
