The principles of architecture of the ancient Mayan civilisation are being used as the basis for a railway station project in Mexico. The reference is the old Mayan manual, which inspired the creation of a huge semi-open roof structure which allows the air to circulate but keeps the rain out.
The project prioritises sustainability and includes an area cloaked in foliage, working with the climate of the region. It also contributes to the preservation of the history and the memory of the ancient civilisations that lived in this region.

A referência é do antigo manual maia, que inspirou a criação de uma enorme estrutura de telhado semiaberto que permite que o ar circule, ao mesmo tempo em que afasta a água da chuva.
