American Chelsey Brown, aged 28, has an unusual hobby: she buys objects in thrift shops intending to return them to their original owners. It all began when she found a letter in a flea market and decided to try and return it to the person who had written it.

With the help of a genealogy site, Brown found relatives of the author, who were interested in the manuscript. So far, the young woman has returned about 190 objects which, she says, are not antiques, they are treasures.
